Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for an Accounting Administrative Assistant in downtown Chicago.  The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years experience.  Our confidential client is a well-established professional services firm.

This role will support two different teams that provide accounting, tax, financial management, legal and transactional support services.  This is a unique opportunity for a qualified person to leverage his or her ability to organize & perform a variety of tasks daily.

  • Expense reporting & payments
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Support & assist with tax filings
  • Maintaining databases, logging correspondence, & follow up
  • Monitor incoming email boxes for priority & distribution
  • E-sign documents
  • Support Directors as needed for 2 teams
  • Meeting planning and coordination
  • Special projects as needed
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/professional support
  • Experience with estimated tax payments, electronic filings & maintaining confidential documents
  • Experience supporting multiple individuals/teams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-Time/Hybrid (3 days in office)
