Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for a Compensation Analyst to support our client in the Chicago market.  The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in compensation working on different compensation projects.

Summary:
The Compensation Analyst will assist in the analysis and administration of employer compensation programs and with data management and integrity associated with compensation and will interact closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate compensation-related activities supporting the business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a position description library for all filled and open positions in the organization. Collaborate with HR team and reach out to managers as needed to improve or update existing descriptions.
  • Collaborate on salary quotes for new hires, promotions, transfers, change, and other compensation actions; Analyze internal and external pay equity issues and provide recommendations.
  • Provide support and guidance to HRBPs, TA team and hiring managers on pay decisions, analysis and policies.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Participate and/or lead special compensation projects
  • Assist with documentation of Compensation policies and practices
  • Prepare company data for salary surveys to support the ongoing improvement of organization compensation programs and objectives.
  • Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to support company compliance.
  • Review jobs for FLSA testing and compliance initiatives.
  • Participates in advancing EDF DEI goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the experiences fell connected, included and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

  • Customer-service focused and able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and managers in a team-based environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing and meeting deadlines with a high level of agility and a sense of urgency in responding to business partners
  • Ability to keep strict confidentiality of information and to work autonomously and make independent decisions
