Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for a Cost Analyst in the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment and previously worked as a cost accountant. Our client has been in business over 60 years and continues to grow.
Summary:
The Cost Analyst is an integral member of the accounting team. This newly created role will work closely with the VP of Finance, plant managers, and plant controllers.

- Standard Rate Management
- Cost Development and Analysis
- Account Reconciliation
- Audit Reports & Presentations
- Policy Recommendations
- Financial Advisory
- Balance Sheet & Accounting Management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CMA or CCA preferred.
- Prior experience as a Cost Accountant
- Proficiency in cost accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
