Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator.

The HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting with and facilitating Human Resources administrative processes.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
- Enter employee related changes/records into database such as new hires, terminations, promotions, tax updates, and direct deposit
- Assist with onboarding processed such as administering I9’s, etc.
- Process leaves of absence, family leave, and workers compensation
- Maintain physical and digital files of benefits, and attendance records
- Prepare/update employment records in the HR Database
- Assist employees with any employee/benefit related issues
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Enter/audit of all new hires, terminations, and transactions into system to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Ensure all documents are up to date (handbooks, applications, etc.)
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required, or combination of education and experience providing equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2+ years of HR administration experience
- Attention to detail, active listening, multi-tasking, and relationship building skills
