Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our client in the Chicagoland market. The right candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in full cycle recruitment.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and hiring top talent for an organization. The primary focus of this role is to identify and attract qualified candidates who are a good fit for the organization's culture and meet the specific job requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract high-quality candidates
- Building and maintaining relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Conducting job interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit with the company culture.
- Using various recruitment tools and techniques to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish hiring criteria.
- Managing the candidate pipeline and tracking candidate progress throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiating job offers and managing the onboarding process for new hires
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience required
- 1 year of human resources experience, preferably with talent acquisition
- Experience developing robust and varied talent pipelines, including partnerships with local community organizations
- Expert level LinkedIn user and experience using ATS systems a plus.
- Ability to work independently and drive recruitment process with internal clients.
- Excellent time management, prioritization and judgment skills with a positive attitude, high energy and focused attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively to candidates and clients and strong negotiation, closing, and phone skills.
