Advanced Resources has an immediate opening for a Total Rewards Manager to support our client in the Chicago market. We are seeking someone with experience administering total rewards and benefits programs with a genuine and natural people first mindset.

Design and implement compensation philosophy to attract, retain and engage employees while aligning with overall business goals. Lead planning, design, and deployment of robust, cost-effective total rewards programs.

Lead planning, design, and deployment of robust, cost-effective total rewards programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, recommend and implement new benefits programs. Examine possible plan designs and benefits cost changes.
- Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors/third-party administrators, and negotiate with vendors/administrators for best plans, options, and rates.
- Analyze current benefits, evaluate the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs to align with business goals.
- Provides leadership and direction to the PF Benefits team, trains and mentors to promote professional growth and high-performance.
- Design marketing materials for benefits orientation, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.
- Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit package.
- Manage retirement program including eligibility, enrollment and participant education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in HR, business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in employee benefit administration to include working knowledge of retirement, life and disability plans.
- Minimum of 2 years’ of experience in a leadership capacity.
- Experience administering FMLA and ADA leaves.
- Experience with employee benefit negotiations process.
- Must have supervisory experience.
- SHRM or HRCI certification desired.
